Meet Murray, a handsome 2-3 years old Border Collie mix.
He really looks like he’s wearing a mask, sort of like Batman.
But don’t worry, he’s not going to sneak off in the evenings to save the world. Though I have to say I would not be surprised if he did.
Murray’s most favorite thing in the world might surprise you. It’s not treats or petting, but rather, a consistent routine of meals, walks, affection.
This is actually not a bad thing- it just means that Murray is a very dependable dog and will do well with a steady routine. I have a feeling he adapts very well to just about anyone’s schedule, once he figures it out.
Murray is also very food motivated, which makes him very trainable. He already knows ‘sit’ and is very polite about receiving treats. He also has excellent self control– he won’t take treats if he’s full, and he is very polite around people (not jumping, etc).
Murray also enjoys petting sessions, especially when his ears and chin get scratched. He is unusually still (except for an occasional tail wag) during those sessions, and he may be a good choice for those looking for a happy, but calm dog.
Plus, can you resist him when he looks this happy?
