Featured Dog: Hannah – ADOPTED!

Hannah

Meet Hannah, a beautiful 3-years old lab mix with a wonderful personality.

Hannah

You know all these things people say about dogs –for example, how affectionate, loyal, and friendly they are? Well, Hannah has all of these qualities!

Hannah

In fact, it’s because of these qualities that Hannah is a huge favorite of volunteers at the shelter. She’s actually very pleasant to walk- she doesn’t pull and looks back at you, and is perfectly fine when you want to stop to sit on a bench or tie your shoes.

Hannah

That day I walked Hannah, we were accompanied by a very shy puppy named Esme. The little pup wasn’t sure she wanted to walk outside in such a scary world, and Hannah gently prodded her and was very tolerant when Esme tried to sniff her butt. They even played for a little while despite being on leashes. I’m positive Hannah would be fine with other dogs, especially if they had similar personalities.

Hannah

Other than being able to make friends with humans and canines, Hannah also loves to be petted. She would be a great therapy dog because she’s very gentle, and clearly expresses her pleasure afterwards.

Hannah

It is not very hard to like a dog who looks like that whenever you give her a chin scratch. 🙂

Hannah

Hannah also loves to play with toys, either by herself or with you. Basically, she’s just about fine with everything- toys, treats, walks, hugs. All she really needs is a home where she can be loved and cherished (and probably a little spoiled 🙂

Hannah

Also, can you resist her little white “socks” on her paws? So charming!

Hannah

Hannah doesn’t really sit, but she doesn’t really have to- she looks up at you with her big eyes and stays very still. She also accepts treats very gently, and I think she’ll be great with polite children.
