Featured Dog: Roxie – ADOPTED!

Meet Roxie, a beautiful 1 – 1 1/2 years old pit mix full of charm and love!

She’s a smart cookie and already knows how to ‘sit’ for treats. In fact, you’ll have to be careful about giving her too many treats, because she’s that good at sitting!

Her beautiful brown puppy eyes don’t hurt, either.

Roxie walks nicely for her age and size – she didn’t pull or run at all. And if she likes you (which she usually does if you give treats), she’ll sit next to you and give you kisses.

She’s that easy to love.

I don’t doubt that she’ll be fun to train, given her love of food treats, and that she’ll be an excellent addition to a household, providing companionship and comfort.

She also gets along with other dogs and would be a very good second dog, given her excellent self control.

Don’t let her muscular appearance deter you- come vist her and let her prove what a cupcake she is underneath.

If you are interested in Roxie, please come visit her in Kennel 38. For more information on Roxie, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.
