Featured Dog: Rocco – GBNF

Rocco

Meet Rocco, an endearing 6-7 months old pit mix with a very long pink tongue!

Rocco

You can tell from his exuberant expressions that he’s one jolly fellow!

Rocco

Rocco is very attentive (almost all the pictures were taken while we were walking). As a result, he walks backwards gracefully.

Rocco

He also sits nicely for treats- he’ll be a star pupil in obedience classes!

Rocco

Rocco is still a puppy, so he does have a bit of energy.

Rocco

The good news is, he loves to play with his toys and is learning the basics of fetch.

Rocco

I say he’s still learning, because he hasn’t learned to bring the toy back, though he is more than willing to come to you for a treat or a hug.

Rocco

Doesn’t Rocco look so happy here? Just a few days ago, when I first met him, he was a little shy and quivering a bit.

Rocco

I must admit, I took him out for a walk because he was wagging his tail furiously and practically begged to go out.

Rocco

It turned out that he had to go to bathroom, and that’s when I realized he was house trained. Such a good boy!

Rocco

Rocco likes other dogs, though I think he’d prefer to have attention all to himself.

Rocco

When you pet him, he leans on you  and lets you know how much he likes you.

Rocco

In short, it is nearly impossible not to like Rocco! It is also almost impossible not to smile when looking at him.

Rocco

Just look at how happy he is on a walk!

Rocco

Won’t you give Rocco the loving home that he needs?
