Puppy Friday: Jamie – ADOPTED

Jamie

Meet Jamie, a handsome 4 months old Jack Russell Terrier mix.

Jamie

When I first met Jamie, he was somewhat shy and hesitant. By the end of our session, though, Jamie was lying on my lap enjoying a bellyrub and constantly giving me kisses. So, if you do visit him, please give him a bit of time to warm up- and then let him work his charm.

Jamie

Jamie knows ‘sit’ and ‘down’ well and loves treats. This should make him a joy to train in obedience school.

Jamie

Most dogs love being petted in a certain spot, and Jamie’s favorite area is his throat.

Jamie

Also, Jamie is so stinkin’ cute that I can barely stand it. Fortunately, he puts up with my “awws” and “oohs.” He even rewards me by being affectionate in form of kisses.

Jamie

Jamie also likes toys, and will play by himself for a little while.

Jamie

He’s more interested in treats and what you have to offer in terms of petting him. 🙂

Jamie

He also gets along with other dogs and likes to run around.

Jamie

All Jamie really needs are more neck scratches…

Jamie

and lots of bellyrubs. If you can provide these, you’ll be his favorite person.

Jamie

If you are interested in Jamie, please come visit him in Kennel 45. For more information on Jamie, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.

He was so freakin’ adorable in person. Whoever adopted him is gonna be in store for such a treat!

      Thanks, Zack,
My daughters, ages 11 and 16, are absolutely thrilled that Jamie is coming home today. He will have a canine brother and sister as well, both beagles, age 3. We fell in love with him during our visit! Thanks for the well wishes.
