Featured Dog: Betsy- ADOPTED!

Allow me to introduce you to the beautiful Betsy, a year old hound/pit mix.

As you can see, she has quite the regal profile! And that she knows ‘sit.’

Betsy loves treats and is very trainable, but she loves being with people even more. When I go to the volunteer office, where she hangs out sometimes, Betsy comes over with her tail wagging and leans on my leg. If I pet her, she slowly eases herself down to the floor and begs me to give her a bellyrub. If you sit with her, she’ll put her head on your lap and it’s like you’ve known her forever.

Betsy is still a little cautious, though. She was afraid of my camera but would come back when I put it down and asked her to come over. I don’t think it’ll be a problem because Betsy is so affectionate 🙂
