This stunningly good-looking dog is Penny, a cattledog mix who’s under a year old.
As you can see she is very shiny, but that’s because she’s got a very sleek fur (an indication of good health!).
Penny is very food motivated and already knows how to ‘sit’ for treats.
This is great, because it means she has good self control despite having a high energy level.
In fact, Penny make a great running or jogging partner – she would much rather run than to walk.
And after a good gallop, she’s ready to settle down and have treats.
Or just win you over with one of her big smiles.
I couldn’t pick a favorite smile, so I’m showing them all.
Here’s one of her paying attention for a treat.
Penny also gets along with other dogs and would love to run around with them, too.
This is near the end of our walk- Penny is settling down in the grass for a nice petting session.
In fact, Penny loves bellyrubs and being petted all over!
When it’s cold, she’ll probably want to cuddle.
(Just wanted to show a photo of Penny when she doesn’t have her tongue out 🙂
Doesn’t Penny look so happy here?
In short, Penny is absolutely beautiful, highly trainable, athletic happy, social, and affectionate. If you think that’ll be a good match for your household, please come see Penny at the shelter.
