This gorgeous girl is Edwina, a 2-3 years old Aussie Shepherd/Collie mix.
She is every bit as fluffy and soft as she looks in the photos.
Edwina is also very polite- she already knows how to ‘sit’ for treats, and she walks very nicely on a leash.
She also enjoys sitting on the bench and being petted.
We had a good time just hanging out and enjoying the rare breezes in the humidity.
Edwina may be best as an only dog, unless there is a very easygoing male dog in the household.
However, she’s very social towards people– when we walked, she would go up to every person she met and ask them if they liked her, too.
On top of that, Edwina is very photogenic! Just look at those eyes and the soft fur…
Wouldn’t it be great to go home to that face?
I bet she would make a terrific therapy dog, given her calm demeanor and affectionate personality.
Oh, Edwina also loves a nice garden. It really isn’t necessary, but she did love taking shade under the giant rosemary bush.
She made herself very comfortable….
And snuggled underneath it.
In a nutshell, Edwina is a beautiful, trainable, and friendly dog who would be a great choice for folks looking for an older, mature dog.
