Meet Ella, a 7 months old (!!!) boxer/hound mix. I know it’s hard to believe that she’s still a puppy, but I think she is at least fullgrown, give or take about 10 lbs.
Despite her muscular appearance, Ella is actually a very timid little girl. She wasn’t sure of what to make of me at first.
After a short walk and a couple of treats later, she was quite thrilled when I decided to sit down and hang out with her. She absolutely loved attention.
How could I tell? I couldn’t photograph it, but Ella leaned next to me and basically wrapped herself around my legs and wagged her tail madly. It looks like she’s got a rough puppyhood- she got bullied by another dog in the household, so she would love to go to a home where she can get the attention and kindness that she’s missed out in the past.
She already knows ‘sit’ and is very food motivated- and I’m certain she will be very, very grateful to whomever is lucky enough to be her human!
