Featured Dog: Mabel – ADOPTED!

Mabel

This cutie is Mabel, a year old (?) pit mix who’s very sweet.

Mabel

She is as soft as she looks in the photo- she’s actually very sleek.

Mabel

Mabel is very food motivated and already knows ‘sit.’ You don’t really need food to get her attention, though- she loves people and hopes that she can get some petting.

Mabel

One of her best features, in my opinion, is the heart on her nose. She has another heart, a white patch of fur on her back (not shown). So Mabel is a literal sweetheart!

Mabel

She walks very nicely for a pit mix- don’t let those muscles fool you; she has excellent self control and does not pull on leash.

Mabel

Here she is, wondering why I stood up to get a picture when I should have been cuddling with her…

Mabel

This is quite a softer side of Mabel, don’t you think? The white paw tips of hers are so cute.

Mabel

Mabel striking a pose…

Mabel

…and asking for a treat.

Mabel

…and another one. She really has perfected those puppy dog eyes.

Mabel

This is my favorite, though. You can see how much she loves you in this photo, and it’s not because of the little pink heart on her nose.

Mabel

Oh, she also gets along with other dogs, and would make a great second dog.
