Featured Dog: Maya – ADOPTED!

Meet Maya, a beautiful 4-5 years old Staffordshire Bull Terrier (Staffie) mix. She is definitely a mature adult- she walks nicely and calmly, sits nicely for a treat, and is affectionate.

However… when you put her in the exercise pen, Maya becomes an excited puppy all over again. She loves her toys, and will spend hours chewing on them until she gets the squeaker out (She is definitely not a stuffed toy kind of dog- unless you like to shop for them all the time!).

See how focused she is? She’s also very good with other dogs and would make a terrific second dog (who will hopefully play tug of war with her!).

If you are interested in Maya, please come visit her in Kennel 9. For more information on Maya, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.

Note: the featured dog can be located at Animal Protection Society of Durham
