Puppy Friday: Homer

Meet Homer, a very cute and eager 3-4 months old pit mix puppy.  He’s  incredibly food motivated and knows ‘sit’ and would love to learn more. As you can tell from the photos, he’s very attentive!

His favorite things are soft toys. He can make a game of it by himself, encourage you to play with him, or after a while, just content to lie there and chew on the toy happily.

He’s currently teething, so he’s exploring all the things with his mouth. He would also make a good dog for an active person- he definitely has a lot of energy he needs to burn off.

He gets along well with other dogs, though he might be a bit rough with them. He would not be a bad second dog if the other dog is older and does not mind dealing with a rude puppy 🙂

If you are interested in Homer, please come visit him in Kennel P6. For more information on Homer, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.
