Featured Dog: Prudence – ADOPTED!

Dear Prudence, open up your eyes
Dear Prudence, see the sunny skies
The wind is low, the birds will sing
That you are part of everything
Dear Prudence, won’t you open up your eyes?

Or so the song goes.

Our dear Prudence been at the shelter for a while and I just can’t figure out why. Maybe it’s because her bright eyes look a little off-putting at first glance. I can assure you, she always looks like that. Whether she is chasing a ball or working on her sit, she is a very happy and attentive girl.

This friendly APBT mix is 3-4 years old. She enjoys chasing a tennis ball, loves to throw some toys in the air then run around with them. Her love of learning (and food treats) makes her so much fun to train. She already has some nice manners, impulse control and she’s been showing off a lovely “spin” recently. She would do well as a spoilt single dog getting lots of attention, as well as with a young male.

If you are interested in meeting this blossoming ballerina, please come visit her in Kennel 33. For more information on Prudence, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.
